About Flattie Baddie Wear

Hi, I’m Kim. And I’m a Flattie Baddie. 💕

Flattie Baddie Wear was born from my own journey through breast cancer, and from everything I learned along the way.

Cancer was never part of my plan. None of it was. The appointments, the uncertainty, the treatments, the hard conversations, the changes to my body, and the decisions I never imagined I would have to make.

And eventually, I made the decision to go flat.

It was a deeply personal choice, and one that came with a whole lot of emotions. Some days I felt strong. Some days I felt angry. Some days I laughed. Some days I cried. And some days I simply put one foot in front of the other and kept going.

Through it all, I realized something: there are so many of us walking this road, and nobody should have to feel alone.

That’s why I created Flattie Baddie Wear.

I wanted to create something that could bring a little humor, hope, encouragement, and badassery to a journey that can feel incredibly heavy.

This brand is for the woman who is fighting.
For the woman who is healing.
For the woman who has finished treatment but is still figuring out what comes next.
For the woman who chose flat.
For the woman who is considering it.
For the woman who simply needs someone to say, “I get it.”

But it’s also for the people standing beside us.

Because cancer doesn’t just affect the person with the diagnosis. It affects husbands, wives, partners, moms, dads, kids, siblings, friends, coworkers, and caregivers. It affects the people sitting in waiting rooms, driving to appointments, sending the “How are you feeling today?” text, making meals, holding hands, wiping tears, and trying to find the right words when there simply aren't any. Sometimes you don’t need the perfect words. You just need to show up.

Flattie Baddie Wear is my way of showing up.

I’m creating clothing, gifts, greeting cards, gift baskets, and other little reminders that can help someone feel seen, supported, and maybe even make them laugh when they really need it.

Because I believe there can be humor in the hard stuff. 

I believe you can be scared and strong at the same time.

I believe your scars don't define you.

I believe losing a part of your body doesn't mean losing a part of yourself.

And most of all, I believe there is hope.

Flattie Baddie Wear is still growing, just like I am. I’m building this brand with a big heart, a little sass, and the hope that something I create might make someone's journey just a tiny bit easier.

If you're fighting, I see you.

If you're healing, I’m cheering for you.

If you're caring for someone you love, I see you, too.

And if you're somewhere in between, trying to figure out who you are after cancer changes everything, I hope you know that you're not alone.

You are more than your diagnosis.
You are more than your scars.
You are more than what you lost.

You are still YOU.

And damn, girl… you’re pretty badass.
